Tyson Fury spent Saturday night partying in Phuket. After a series of speaking engagements in Thailand the heavyweight champion of the world decided to have a night off at Fight Circus 7.

The invitation only event was put together at the last minute to celebrate Jon Nutt’s birthday so there was no live stream. We don’t know exactly what went down but Fury was pictured partying in the ring with a large entourage of dwarfs after thrusting a birthday cake into the birthday boy’s face:

Knocked out

It isn’t clear exactly what has happened before Fury presents the birthday cake. But the English boxer can be heard declaring,

He got knocked out on his birthday, what a fu***ng legend.

Also in attendance was Bob Sapp and in another video Fury can be seen complimenting the 49 year old Pride and K-1 veteran on his impressive physique moments before Nutt launches into a rendition of the South Park classic ‘Chocolate Salty Balls’:

Late announcement

Fight Circus 7 appeared to take place in the promotion’s regular venue in Patong. The event was only announced a few days ago with Nutt telling fight fans that there would be a ‘special guest’.

Fury was at Rajadamnern last Wednesday night to see some sanctioned Muay Thai fights. While we don’t know what was on the Fight Circus 7 card these events typically feature attractions like Siamese twin fights, delivery driver fights and Indian leg wrestling.

For some reason there is always a large entourage of cosplaying dwarfs in attendance and it seems last nights event was no exception:

Training trip

Fury also paid a visit to Bang Tao Muay Thai this week and it looked like he was getting a workout in. The 34 year old doesn’t currently have an upcoming bout booked but seems to be staying in shape.

He also trained in Bangkok. During his visit to Bang Tao Muay Thai someone asks Fury how he is feeling and he replies in his own inimitable style,

I’m feeling on top of the world, I’m feeling like a champion. Oh wait a minute, I am a fu***ng champion.

Next fight

Fury has been involved in negotiations with prospective opponent Oleksandr Usyk for the best part of a year. Fight fans have become increasingly frustrated as they wait for the Englishman to make his long awaited return to the ring, which looks unlikely to happen this year.

He has not fought since October as negotiations for the Usyk fight have dragged on and on. There was a lot of speculation that it might take place in Saudi Arabia although Wembley Stadium has also been mooted as a potential venue.

Usyk looks set to face mandatory challenger Daniel Dubois in Poland on August 26th. It means Fury could be sitting on the sidelines for the entire year but the WBC heavyweight champion seems to be enjoying spending some time away from ring.
