Vitor Belfort is in talks with ONE Championship. The former UFC light heavyweight champion is in Singapore and looks set to attend tomorrow night’s event as a guest of Chatri Sityodtong.

Last year Belfort announced he would retire from fighting and it is not clear whether he is considering a comeback or looking to return to the sport in some other capacity. The 41 year old has a professional record of 26-14-0-1.
Belfort made his UFC debut in 1997 and has also fought multiple times for Pride. He’s been in with the likes of Randy Couture, Wanderlei Silva, Kazushi Sakuraba, Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Alistair Overeem, Dan Henderson, Rich Franklin, Anderson Silva, Jon Jones and Michael Bisping.
After suffering a second round KO defeat at the hands of Lyoto Machida last May he announced his retirement from the sport. However he is set to attend ONE: ‘Call to Greatness’ at the Singapore Indoor Stadium tomorrow night and the ‘big news’ in question could well turn out to be a Belfort comeback.
