Fabricio Andrade has taken the ONE Championship bantamweight division by storm. A title shot surely awaits the Brazilian after his most impressive win yet.
Andrade finished Jeremy Pacatiw with a devastating knee to the liver early in the opening round folding the Filipino like a deck chair:

It was perfectly timed and executed and Pacatiw was instantly disabled by the brilliantly timed strike. Afterwards Andrade screamed ‘I’m the new king, I’m the new king’.
John Lineker is set to challenge Bibiano Fernandes for the belt at ONE: ‘Lights Out’ next Friday. That bout has been over a year in the making but another Brazilian will be waiting to fight the winner.
With four ONE Championship wins to his name Andrade is surely the #1 contender. It looks like the bantamweight belt will be staying in Brazil for the foreseeable future!
