UAE Warriors 18 is set for Abu Dhabi on March 20th. The event will be headlined by a bantamweight title fight with Xavier Alaoui making the first defence of his belt against Vinicius de Oliveira.
Alaoui (12-3) scored a decision win over James Dea at UAE Warriors 14 last November, becoming the promotion’s first bantamweight champion in the process. The Canadian is riding a four fight winning streak that includes two victories in Abu Dhabi.
De Oliveira (15-2) is also riding a four fight winning streak and coming off back to back victories at UAE Warriors 14 and UAE Warriors 15. He stopped Furkatbek Yokubov in the first round at the former and scored a decision win over Sultan Zholdoshbekov at the latter.
UAE Warriors 15 took place in January with Khabib Nurmagomedov bringing a team of fighters with him. At present there are no details about when UAE Warriors 16 or UAE Warriors 17 will be held.
