Yusaku Kinoshita faces Kenta Takagi at Pancrase 323
Undefeated welterweight Yusaku Kinoshita will take on an experienced opponent at Pancrase 323. The 20 year old has been matched with 37 fight veteran Kenta Takagi at Studio Coast in Tokyo on September 12th.
Kinoshita (3-0) only made his pro debut in November but had already enjoyed success as an amateur. He is coming off a first round stoppage win over another veteran, Yuta Nakamura, at Pancrase Osaka earlier this month.
By contrast Takagi (17-9-0-1) made his career debut in 200. Career highlights include challenging for the interim Pancrase welterweight title, Heat welterweight title and Real welterweight title as well as winning the interim Heat welterweight title.
Also added to the card yesterday was a flyweight contest pitting the charismatic Satoru Date (11-13-7) against Kohei Kiriyama (3-1). The former won the Neo Blood 125lbs tournament at Pancrase 322 while the latter is coming off back to back wins.
As previously announced the event will feature a middleweight bout pitting Genpei Hayashi against Kazuki Kasai. The semi finals of the Neo Blood bantamweight tournament and the final of the Neo Blood lightweight tournament are also set for Pancrase 323.
In the bantamweight tournament Toshiomi Kazama faces Ryo Tajima. The former has won four straight fights since losing his pro debut in 2020 while the latter scored back to back victories in May.
The other semi final pits Akio Kawakita against Junya Ogawa. The former is fighting out of Tribe Tokyo while the latter represents Brave.
Shin Iraha takes on Dastan Omurzakov in the final of of the Neo Blood lightweight tournament. In the featherweight division Hirotaka Nakada faces Ryo Asami while Kisa Miyake takes on Shinsuke Kamei and Tatsuhiko Iwamoto meets Raiki Endo.
In the middleweight division Ryo Kawamura has been matched with fellow veteran Yuji Arai. There is also a bantamweight bout between Joji Hirata and Toshinori Tsunemura and a featherweight fight pitting Tatsuhiko Iwamoto against Raiki Endo.
