Japanese veteran Yushin Okami will be fighting for ONE Championship. The signing of the former UFC welterweight title challenger was announced today by Chatri Sityodtong:

In the past five years Okami has fought at welterweight middleweight and light heavyweight although his most recent two fights have been at 170lbs. He has fought 21 times for the UFC, winning 14 of those fights.
Okami has been in with some of the best welterweights and middleweights in history including Anderson Silva, Rich Franklin, Chael Sonnen and Jake Shields and has won five out of his last seven fights.
If he plans to compete at welterweight potential opponents include Sage Northcutt and Yoshihiro Akiyama. Reigning champion Zebaztian Kadestam will be making the first defence of the belt against Georgiy Kichigin at ONE: ‘Reign of Valor’ next month.
