A welterweight fight has been added to ONE: ‘Big Bang’ Part II. Agilan Thani faces Tyler McGuire at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in an event that will be broadcast next Friday.
Thani (10-4) is a former welterweight title challenger. The Malaysian had a solid 2019, scoring decision wins over Yoshihiro Akiyama and Dante Schiro and dropping a decision to Yushin Okami.
McGuire (11-1) did not compete at all in 2019. The previous year he earned a welterweight title shot but was stopped in the fifth round by Zebaztian Kadestam at ONE: ‘Warrior’s Dream’.
As previously announced Taiki Naito takes on Jonathan Haggerty in flyweight Muay Thai action. Meanwhile Nieky Holzken faces Elliot Compton in a lightweight kickboxing bout.
There are two other MMA fights on the card. In the featherweight division Tetsuya Yamada faces Jae Woong Kim while bantamweight Ali Motamed and Rui Chen will go head to head.
The other fight on the card is a a heavyweight kickboxing bout. Dutch veteran Errol Zimmerman makes his promotional debut against Rade Opačić.
