UAE Warriors 29 is set for Yas Island on March 26th. The event will feature two title fights with Mohammad Yahya, Ali Al Qaisi and Mohammad Yahya both defending their titles.
Al Qaisi (11-5) will be making the first defence of the lightweight belt he won from Do Gyeom Lee at UAE Warriors 24. He has won three in a row since being released by the UFC.
His opponent is Ahmed Faress (16-4) who does not come into this contest in such good form. He was last seen dropping a split decision to Edward Kelly at ONE: ‘Full Blast’.
The other title fight on the card sees local favourite Yahya (10-3) making the first defence of his lightweight crown. The Bellator veteran is on a three fight winning streak.
He has been matched with Mohamed El Jaghdal (7-4). The Moroccan makes his promotional debut having spent most of his career competing in Spain.
The event will be part of a triple header of events at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. UAE Warriors 27 is set for March 25th, UAE Warriors 28 for March 26 and UAE Warriors 29 for March 27th.
