An atomweight Muay Thai fight between Celest Hansen and Angela Chang has been booked for ONE Friday Fights 6. The two will face off at Lumpinee Stadium on February 26th.

Both will be making their ONE Championship debuts. Hansen is from Australia and rose to prominence after winning the Road to ONE atomweight tournament.

That tournament was promoted by Fairtex with all the fights taking place at Lumpinee Stadium so Hansen will be in familiar surroundings. In the semi final he beat Duangdaonoi Luksaikongdin, whose sister just married Rodtang Jitmuangnon, and in the final she overcame Lomanee Thelegendarena.

Her opponent hails from the US and holds a win over ONE Championship atomweight Thestar Sitchor. She has been based in Bangkok for the past eight years and fights out of the world renowned PKSaenchai camp.

Flyweight fight

The main event at ONE Friday Fights 6 will be a flyweight fight pitting two elite Thai fighters together. Kongthoranee Sor Sommai is set to take on Gingsanglek Tor Laksong with both men fighting in small gloves for the first time.

Kongthoranee has held Rajadamnern titles in two divisions. Meanwhile Ginsanglek is the Siam Omnoi lightweight champion and was the hottest prospect on the Muay Thai scene in Bangkok at one stage.

Weekly shows

These cards take place every Friday night and are broadcast live by Channel 7 in Thailand. There are normally MMA and kickboxing bouts but the majority of the fights take place under Muay Thai rules.

Last Friday night Fritz Biagtan scored a very late stoppage win. The previous week Francisca Vera came from behind to beat Gusjung Fairtex in a dramatic fight that swung back and forth across the space of two rounds.
