Christian Lee and Eddie Alvarez will join Brandon Vera on the ONE: ‘Infinity’ 2 card. The event is set for the MOA Arena on May 29th.
Lee (13-3) will make the first defence of his lightweight title against Iuri Lapicus (14-0). The Moldovan is coming off a first round submission win over former featherweight king Marat Gafurov at ONE: ‘Warrior’s Code’.
Meanwhile former UFC lightweight champion Alvarez (30-7) will face Saygid Arslanaliev (8-2) in a bout that was originally slated to take place at ONE: ‘Century’ last October.
Arslanaliev reached the final of the lightweight Grand Prix by winning two fights out of two. Alvarez was reinstated despite losing in the quarter finals and beat Eduard Folayang in the preliminary round.
But the American suffered an injury in the Folayang fight and was replaced by Lee. The lightweight champion would go on to beat Arslanaliev in Tokyo.
As previously announced Vera will be defending his heavyweight crown against fellow UFC veteran Arjan Bhullar. The Fil-Am veteran is also coming off a defeat at ONE: ‘Century’.
