Donald Trump has a new job! The former president of the USA will be providing guest commentary for Vitor Belfort‘s boxing match with Evander Holyfield.

It is not the first time Trump has been at a boxing match and he is excited to see the two veterans go toe to toe,

“I love great fighters and great fights. I look forward to seeing both this Saturday night and sharing my thoughts ringside. You won’t want to miss this special event,” he said.

Anyone who thinks this is out of character for Trump has not been following his career for very long. He once participated in a WWE match:

While Trump probably won’t be inside the ring this weekend he will be ringside to see the Pride veteran take on the multiple time heavyweight world champion. Belfort is 43 while Holyfield is 48 but there is still a lot of interest in this fight.

Having the 45th president of the United States on commentary duty is unlikely to dull anyone’s enthusiasm for the spectacle, even if Belfort’s original opponent Oscar de la Hoya was forced to withdraw at late notice after contracting Covid-19.

Will Trump provide some valuable insight into the boxing strategies of both men? Or will he use the platform for his trademark brand of self promotion?

We will find out this weekend!
