A heavyweight fight between two promotional newcomers has been added to the ONE on TNT Part II card. The event is set to be broadcast on April 14th (US time) and will see Dustin Joynson face off against Islam Abasov.
Joynson (6-0-0-1) is 6’5″ tall, making him one of the biggest fighters in the division. He has held both the Havoc FC and Battlefield Fight League heavyweight titles.
Abasov (6-0) was scheduled to meet Amir Aliakbari at ONE: ‘Big Bang’ last December but withdrew from that fight with an injury. The undefeated Russian will finally make his promotional debut in a card that is being broadcast on TNT in the US.
Also added to the card today was a heavyweight fight pitting Kang Ji Won (4-0) against Marcus Buchecha. The Brazilian is a multiple time BJJ world champion and will be making his pro debut.
As previously announced the event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium will be headlined by a lightweight title fight. Christian Lee will be making the second defence of his belt against Timofey Nastyukhin who holds a notable win over Eddie Alvarez.
Martin Nguyen will be back in action at ONE on TNT Part II. The former featherweight champion has been matched with Kim Jae Woong in a bout that will be broadcast on April 14th.
The other fights on the card are a strawweight kickboxing bout between Wondergirl Fairtex and Amber Kitchen and a featherweight Muay Thai fight between Liam Harrison and Pongsiri PKSaenchaigym.
