Three more fights have been added to the Rizin 22 card. The event is set for Yokohoma on August 9th and will feature the return of Erson Yamamoto.
The 23 year old was last seen in action at Rizin 19. Yamamoto (3-4) is the nephew of Kid Yamamoto and has been matched with some of the best bantamweights on the Japanese promotion’s roster.
At Rizin 22 he will go up against Kenji Kato (10-7). The Shooto veteran suffered a submission loss at the hands of Yuto Hokamura when he made his promotional debut at Rizin 21 earlier this year.
The other MMA fight added to the card today pits Rikuto Shirakawa (7-7-1) against Kyohei Hagiwara (0-2). Meanwhile Nadaka Yoshinari has been matched with Yuushin in a catchweight kickboxing bout.
As previously announced Rizin 22 features a bantamweight fight pitting Naoki Inoue against Shooto Watanabe. Also on the card is a super atomweight contest pitting Kanna Asakura against Mizuki Furuse.
The other two fights confirmed are a lightweight bout pitting Yusuke Yachi against Roberto de Souza and a featherweight fight between Tetsuya Seki and Yojiro Uchimura.
Rizin 23 is set for the same venue on the following day.
