Geje Eustaquio and Adriano Moraes will fight for the third time at ONE: ‘Hero’s Ascent’. The Filipino will be making the first defence of his flyweight title in Manila on January 25th, and facing the former champion.

Eustaquio (11-6) and Moraes (17-3) first fought in 2014 with the Brazilian winning by submission and becoming the inaugural ONE Championship flyweight champion. They rematched earlier this year and the Filipino won that fight by split decision.

The trilogy fight will take place at the MOA Arena and has added significance because a flyweight Grand Prix is about to begin. Former UFC champion Demetrious Johnson recently signed with the promotion and is set to make his debut in Tokyo.

Moraes has three losses on his record but every single one of those defeats has come by way of split decision. Eustaquio has gone on to win rematches against three of the opponents who have beaten him and has beaten every fighter to ever hold the ONE Championship flyweight title.

Next up for the promotion is ONE: ‘Eternal Glory’ in Jakarta on January 19th. There are currently 24 events on the 2019 schedule including ONE: ‘A New Era’ in Tokyo on March 31st.
