A grudge match will co-headline Full Metal Dojo 17. Bangkok based welterweight Javier Trujillo will be looking to avenge the only defeat of his career when he faces Malaysia based Jordanian Mostafa Ibrahim Radi.

The two will be fighting for the first time. But Trujillo’s only loss came at the hands of Mehdi Bagheri, who like Radi trains out of Monarchy MMA in Kuala Lumpur.

Trujillo (4-1) is based long term in Bangkok and has spent his entire professional career competing for FMD. All four of his wins have come inside the opening round and the American has never been the distance.

Radi (1-1) also boasts a 4-0 amateur record. He has been active as a mixed martial artist since 2015 but has only fought sporadically and faces a step up against Trujillo, who will be fighting in his adopted hometown.

Full Metal Dojo 16 took place last November and since then the Bangkok based promotion has been on hiatus. However frontman Jon Nutt has been very active in the combat sport business and has presented numerous shows for Fox Sports Asia.

FMD 17 will also feature Vinod Dave Singh Greywal and Stan Tskitishvili with the identity of their opponents likely to be released in the coming days.
