The 24th of August sees the latest installment of the K-1 World Grand Prix taking place at the Edion Arena in Osaka.

Highlighting the card are five ‘Japan vs. The World’ bouts. The main event is a ‘super fight’ between two stars of the Japanese fight circuit in Kouzi and Oiwa Tatsuya.

In the ‘Japan vs. The World’ clashes K-1 lightweight champion Hayashi Kenta faces Turkish warrior Deniz Demirkapu.

Meanwhile vastly experienced Japanese star Masaaki Noiri looks to bounce back from a points loss to Jordann Pikeur at K’Festa 2 in March when he faces Swiss fighter Sami Lamiri.

Oizumi Sho faces Kimura “Philip” Minoru. The Brazilian is based in Japan and has beaten the likes of Kaew Fairtex and and Hiroya.

Kido Yasuhiro is also coming off a loss on the K’Festa 2 card. He was beaten by Yuta Kubo and will be looking to bounce back with a win against Spanish fighter Antonio Gomez.

In the final ‘Japan vs. The World’ match Aitaka Ryo faces Iranian fighter Sina Karamian, who is looking to enhance his reputation with a second straight K-1 win, after beating Hisaki Kato at K’Festa 2.
