Kiamrian Abbasov will be defending his welterweight title at ONE: ‘Inside the Matrix’ part II next Friday. Undefeated James Nakashima will be the challenger at an event which is being shown on delay from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Abbasov (22-4) beat Zebaztiam Kadestam by decision to claim the title at ONE: ‘Dawn of Valor’ last October. He is riding a four fight winning streak.

Nakashima (12-0) is a former LFA welterweight champion. He has earned his title shot by winning three fights out of three for the promotion.

The co-main event looks likely to be a title eliminator in the lightweight division. Pieter Buist (17-4) has been matched with Timofey Nastyukhin (13-4) and the winner could be set to challenge Christian Lee.

In the flyweight division Kyu Sung Kim (10-3) goes up against Yuya Wakamatsu (12-4). Meanwhile strawweight Eki Saputra (3-1) has been handed a fast turnaround after his win earlier this month. He faces Ramon Gonzalez (4-3).

Meanwhile Meng Bo (14-5) has been matched with Priscilla Gaol (7-4). The Chinese fighter holds a win over Weili Zhang and will be looking to book a spot in the upcoming atomweight Grand Prix.
