The next K-1 World Grand Prix event is set for November 3rd at the Fukuoka International Centre. In the main event Takeru Segawa defends his featherweight title against Leona Pettas.
Takeru has been out of action since March, when he knocked out Thai fighter Petchdam Petchkiatpetch in the second round at KāFesta 3. However he has a busy few months coming up with an exhibition bout against Saiga Kizaemon also booked for September 22nd.
Pettas is the reigning Krush featherweight champion. He comes into the bout fresh from a decision win over Tatsuya Oiwa in a title defence in June.
In the co-main event Iranian K-1 cruiserweight champion Sina Karimian faces K-Jee in a non title match. This will be the second encounter between them with the former scoring a decision win over the latter in 2018.
Also on the card is the first ever female K-1 flyweight champion, Kana, who takes on Krush star Kotomi.
The card is still a work in progress with more fights to be added, but with the current travel restrictions it looks unlikely there will be any fighters based outside of Japan in action.
