Petchmorrakot Wor Sangprapai was scheduled to face Charlie Peters at next week’s ONE: ‘Destiny of Champions’. This bout was nixed when the Englishman suffered a slipped disk in training but his compatriot Liam Harrison has stepped up to take the fight at ten days’ notice.
Harrison, who dropped a decision to Peters earlier this year, has initially been scheduled to compete in Manila earlier this month. He pulled out of that fight and instead will be making his ONE Super Series debut at the Axiata Arena on December 7th.
Petchmorrakot is one of three former Lumpinee champions on the ONE: ‘Destiny of Champions’ card. He fights out of the famous Petchyindee camp but suffered a surprise decision defeat at the hands of Alaverdi Ramazanov earlier this year.
The card is headlined by a Muay Thai fight between Yodseanklai Fairtex and Luis Regis. The other famous Thai champion in action is Panpayak Jitmuangnon who has been matched with Rui Botelho while former ONE Championship title holders Vitaly Bigdash and Alex Silva are also on the card.
