Nat Wondergirl decided to start the year with a trip to the beach. The Muay Thai fighter turned mixed martial artists shared some sizzling snaps which were taken in Phuket.
The 23 year old recently relocated to Phuket in order to train and teach at Southside MMA. She definitely seems to be enjoying the island life and visited Kata Noi beach on New Year’s Day.
Moving around
Wondergirl has been forced to change camps twice in the last year or two. She had an acrimonious split with Fairtex, the gym in Pattaya where she first started making the transition from Muay Thai to MMA.
After that Wondergirl moved to Marrok Force in Bangkok but that camp appears to be closing its doors. She now finds herself training in Rawai at Phuket’s newest MMA camp.
She has been training alongside ONE Championship star Noelle Grandjean and Darren Till also spent time at the camp in Rawai as he prepared for UFC 282.

Fighting family
Coach DJ Jackson is also at Southside MMA having previously moved from Fairtex to Marrok Force just like Wondergirl did. She doesn’t currently have a fight booked but her sister will be back in action this month.
Supergirl Jaroonsakgym face Ekaterina Vandaryeva at ONE on Prime Video 6 in a rematch. That will be fought under Muay Thai rule, with Wondergirl the only member of the family currently competing in MMA.
The card for ONE on Prime Video 6 has not yet been released so there is a possibility that Wondergirl might be back in action this month. With the promotion putting on weekly events at Lumpinee Stadium she shouldn’t have to wait too long for her next fight.
ONE Lumpinee 1 features a mixture of Muay Thai and MMA bouts so for fighter who can compete in both, like Wondergirl, there should be plenty of opportunities. She only got in one fight last year but the 23 year old looks likely to be much busier in 2023.
