Kesarin Chaichalermpol, better known as Nong Natt, is training intensely for her Muay Thai debut. The former porn star has spent time at Sityodtong as she prepares to step into the ring for the first time.
According to Natt she is not a complete newcomer. The social media celebrity says she has been training at the Fairtex Gym in Pattaya for many years.
There was some suggestion that her bout with model Amee Maxim would not be a real fight. But Nong Natt appears to be taking her training seriously:

Professional debut
In an earlier Instagram post Nong Natt addressed the critics who had claimed that she was incapable of competing in a real fight or would be disrespecting the sport of Muay Thai. She claims to have first started training at the Fairtex Gym when she was in her early 20s.
According to Nong Natt she has spent a lot of time training with the professional fighters there even though she has never fought professionally herself. She is also adamant that it will be a proper fight with regular scoring and that she will respect the traditions of Muay Thai.

Open the opportunity
While Nong Natt acknowledges that she is not at the same level as professional Muay Thai fighters she questions why people are saying she should be allowed to train but not to fight? The 37 year old says she deserves the opportunity to test her skills in the ring just like any other aspiring amateur fighter even though she is best known for her career as a porn star.
On Saturday night she will fight on the Kru Dam show in Bangkok. Less is known about the preparation of her opponent, Amee Maxim, who is also a model and posts regular updates on Facebook.
There is no evidence that Amee has been doing any type of Muay Thai training. Her updates consist exclusively of modelling pics and photos of her posing at parties.
Perhaps she is keeping her training camp a closely held secret because she doesn’t want to give her any insight into her preparation. Either way it seems that Nong Natt is taking her first Muay Thai fight very seriously.
