ONE Championship has a new atomweight star and she is set to debut tomorrow night. The aptly named TheStar Sit Chor is set to take on Yu Yau Pui at Lumpinee Stadium.

TheStar is a Muay Thai veteran and has also competed in kickboxing. She joins a division which is hotting up after the return of Allycia Rodrigues, the reigning champion who has been out of action for over two years.

Rodrigues took time off to have a baby and in her absence an interim champion was crowned. Janet Todd won that title and a unification bout is in the works

There are some other big names in the mix but TheStar has already caught the eye of fight fans with some steamy pics on Instagram:

Moving seamlessly

Fighters seem to be capable of moving seamlessly between kickboxing and Muay Thai bouts. Having enjoyed success in both sports TheStar potentially has two viable routes to the title.

Anissa Meksen has taken the atomweight division by sport an is a good example of a fighter who can compete in both. She earned herself a shot at the interim atomweight kickboxing title but then blew it by no showing the ONE Fight Night 6 weigh ins.

Meksen and Stamp were set to face off in a mixed rules fight in Bangkok last month. The two atomweights were then scheduled to meet again with the interim atomweight kickboxing title on the line.

But Meksen simply decided not to turn up for their mixed rules bout, which was to alternate between MMA and Muay Thai. Stamp is now booked to face Alyse Anderson at ONE Fight Night 1o so that title fight appears to have been permanently canned.

First fight

TheStar is based in Pattaya and, judging from her Instagram, seems to spend a lot of time at the beach. She is also a serious fighter who trains at the Sityodtong and Sitpholek camps.

Potential opponents like Rodriguez, Todd and Meksen will surely be keeping a close eye on the up and coming atomweight as she steps into the ring at Lumpinee Stadium for her first ONE Championship fight tomorrow.

Her opponent hails from Hong Kong but is something of an unknown quality. If the Thai fighter can put in an impressive story then a star could be made at ONE Friday Fights 3!
