A flyweight fight has been added to the ONE on TNT Part III card. Reece McLaren faces Yuya Wakamatsu in an event in Singapore that will be broadcast in the US on April 21st.
McLaren (14-7) challenged for the bantamweight belt in 2016. He came up short against Bibiano Fernandes but is coming off back to back wins in the flyweight division.
Wakamatsu (13-4) is on a run of three straight wins that included two very impressive knockouts. He posed Demetrious Johnson a few problems when they fought at ONE: ‘A New Era’ and has a laser like right hand.
Also on the card is a bantamweight bout pitting Troy Worthen (7-1) against Shuya Kamikubo (11-1-1). The American is coming off the first defeat of his career while the Japanese fighter has won four fights out of four for ONE Championship.
The event will be headlined by a heavyweight fight between Amir Aliakbari and Anatoly Malykhin. Both men were in action at ONE: ‘Fists of Fury’ Part II which is being broadcast this week.
There are two kickboxing bouts on the card. John Wayne Parr will face Nieky Holzken in a lightweight match while Chingiz Allazov takes on Enriko Kehl in the featherweight division.
Also on the card is a welterweight bout pitting Yoshihiro Akiyama against Mohammad Karaki.
