Road FC has announced three events for its first-half schedule of 2020. From January to March, there will be no action since the promotion will focus on producing and broadcasting an MMA audition program.

Hundreds of individuals from various professions and backgrounds showed up and participated in the preliminary round . The show is currently in progress and will air at a future date.

Road FC 58, the first event of the year, is scheduled for April 18 at Gyeyang Arena in Incheon, just west of Seoul. As of yet, there are no fights confirmed but the matchmakers are in the process of putting together a card.

Blue Moon Fund, a peer-to-peer financial firm, has jumped on as the main sponsor. The company will embark on growing the organization in many avenues inside and outside the country and a Road FC event in Indonesia is penciled in for 2020.

On May 16th the promotion will go back to its long time home of Jangchung Arena in Seoul for Road FC 59, then on July 11th, Road FC 60 will take place in Wonju at Wonju Arena, the headquarters for the organization.

With the success of the $1 Million Lightweight Grand Prix, tournaments in a variety of weight divisions will be the focus moving forward according to the brass.

Unfortunately, the number of shows has dwindled over the past two years. Road FC hit promotional highs in 2014 and 2017 with ten events but the last two years have only seen six.

Rumors have been swirling concerning the financial stability of the South Korean organization, however, with the recent backing by Blue Moon Fund and the plans to expand into South East Asia the future looks to be brighter.
