Rizin 30 will take place at the Saitama Super Arena on September 19th. The event will feature two title fights and the quarter finals of the bantamweight Grand Prix.

Roberto de Souza (12-1) will be making the first defence of the lightweight title he claimed at Rizin 28 earlier this month. The identity of his opponent will be revealed at a later date.

Super atomweight champion Ayaka Hamasaki (22-3) will also be on the card. She will be making the second defence of the title she won for the second time at Rizin 26 last year but it remains to be seen who the Japanese fighter will be matched with.

Four fights have been confirmed for the card. They are the quarter finals of the bantamweight Grand Prix with the winners of the last 16 matches at Rizin 28 and Rizin 29 set to face off.

On one side of the bracket Takafumi Otsuka (29-18) takes on Yuto Hokamura (14-9) and Yuki Motoya faces Kai Asakura (17-3). On the other side Kenta Takizawa (12-7) goes up against Alan Yamaniha (18-8) and Hiromasa Ougikubo (22-5) meets Naoki Inoue (16-2).

The semi finals and final of the tournament will take place on December 31st. A 2022 title shot against reigning bantamweight champion Kyoji Horiguchi awaits the Grand Prix winner.
