ONE: ‘Battleground’ is set for the Singapore Indoor Stadium on July 30th. The card has had a slight reshuffle with Tayfun Ozcan forced to withdraw due to injury and Gustavo Balart now set to take on Ryuto Sawada in a strawweight contest.

Balart (8-4) has lost all three of his fights for ONE Championship. The Cuban wrestled at the Olympics but at just 4’11” he is the shortest fighter in the strawweight division.

While Balart has been away from the cage for nearly two years Sawada (14-6-1) has been very active. The Japanese fighter has already fought twice this year and is coming off a decision loss to Miao Li Tao at ONE on TNT Part III.

The featherweight kickboxing contest between Ozcan and Sittichai Sitsongpeenong is no longer on the card. The former is out while the latter will now face Tawanchai PKSaenchaigym in a Muay Thai fight at ONE: ‘Battleground’ Part III.

The card will be headlined by a Muay Thai title fight with Sam-A Gaiyanghadao defending his strawweight title against Prajanchai PKSaenchaigym. Both men have won titles in multiple divisions at Lumpinee Stadium but the challenger is 11 years younger.

The event will also feature a middleweight fight between Aung La Nsang and Leandro Ataides. The former held the middleweight and light heavyweight titles until recently.

The card will also feature Victoria Lee (1-0). The younger sister of reigning ONE Championship title holders Angela Lee and Christian Lee will be looking for her second pro win when she faces promotional newcomer Wang Luping in an atomweight bout.

Also in atomweight action is Ritu Phogat (4-1). The Indian wrestler will be looking to rebound from her first ever defeat when she faces the experienced Lin Heqin (14-2-1) who returns after a two year absence.
