Seo Hee Ham is out of the atomweight Grand Prix but Denice Zamboanga won’t be replacing her! The Korean’s place in the tournament goes to Julie Mezabarba.

Having won the alternate bout at ONE: ‘Empower’ the Brazilian was next in line should a fighter withdraw. But given the controversy surrounding Zamboanga’s decision defeat to Ham she might have hoped to be given a second chance.
Instead it is Mezabarba who steps in to face Stamp Fairtex in the semi final. On the other side of the bracket Ritu Phogat has been matched with Itsuki Hirata.
The semi finals are set for ONE: ‘NextGen’ on October 29th. Zamboanga had been scheduled to face Mezabarba but it remains to be seen if the Filipina will be on the card.
