There have been some changes to the ONE on TNT Part II card. The event will be broadcast next week and a bantamweight bout between Shuya Kamikubo and Mitchell Chamale has been added to the card.
Kamikubo’s original opponent was Troy Worthen. But he will now be fighting John Lineker at ONE on TNT part III after the Brazilian’s original opponent Stephen Loman tested positive for Covid-19.
Chamale (7-2) will be making his promotional debut. The American has not fought since 2015 so is a surprising last minute addition to the five fight card.
Kamikubo (11-1-1) has won four fights out of four for ONE Championship. However the Japanese fighter remains unranked and he will be looking to break into the top five with a win here.
As previously announced the event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium will be headlined by a lightweight title fight. Christian Lee will be making the second defence of his belt against Timofey Nastyukhin who holds a notable win over Eddie Alvarez.
In the featherweight division hard hitting Mongolian Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg has been matched with Japan’s Yoshiki Nakahara. The former is riding a four fight winning streak while the latter has won nine out of his last ten.
In the flyweight division Wang Shuo takes on Kim Kyu Sung. The Chinese fighter is making his promotional debut while the Korean has won one fight out of three for ONE Championship.
No longer on the card is the flyweight fight between Jarred Brooks and Lito Adiwang. The featherweight Muay Thai fight between Liam Harrison and Pongsiri PKSeanchaigym has also been cancelled due to the Covid-19 situation in the UK.
