Former Road FC and ONE Championship bantamweight champion Soo Chul Kim will return on September 4th. He has not competed in MMA since 2019.

The vacant featherweight title will be on the line when Kim faces Hae Jin Park at Road FC 59. Jeong Young Lee is out of contract so the promotion will be looking to crown a replacement.

Kim (16-5-1) burst onto the scene by winning the ONE Championship bantamweight title in 2012. He has not lost a fight in eight years but disappeared from the scene after capturing the Road FC 135lbs strap in  2019.

As previously announced the newly vacated atomweight title will be on the line at Road FC 59 Jeong Eun Park and Yu Ri Shim will compete for the belt which was previously the property of Seo Hee Ham.

The event will also feature a lightweight fight pitting Park Seung-Mo against Shin Dong-Guk. The former is coming off back to back wins at ARC 1 and ARC 4 while the latter has lost his last two.

In the flyweight division Jung Hyun Lee faces Davron Kholmatov while bantamweights Dae-Yeong Jang and Gi-Won Ko are booked to face off. The event is set for Wonju Gymnasium and more fights are set to be announced in the coming weeks.
