Takashi Sato will be back in action on November 28th (local time). The Japanese welterweight has been booked to face Miguel Baeza at UFC Vegas 13.
Sato (16-3) was last seen in action at UFC on ESPN 12 in June, scoring a first round stoppage win over Jason Witt. He was scheduled to face Daniel Rodriguez at UFC on ESPN 15 in August but failed a medical.
Baeza (9-0) is coming off back to back second round stoppage wins inside the octagon. He beat Matt Brown at UFC on ESPN 8 and Hector Aldana at UFC on ESPN+ 19.
As previously announced Su Mudaerji will go in search of his second straight UFC win at UFC Vegas 13. The Tibetan bantamweight has been matched with Malcolm Gordon.
Mudaerji (12-4) scored the biggest win of his career at UFC Shenzhen. The 24 year old earned a decision victory over Andre Soukhamthath and will be fighting for the first time this year.
Gordon (12-4) has an identical record but is coming off a submission defeat Amir Albazi in Abu Dhabi. The Canadian will be looking for the first win of his UFC career.
UFC Vegas 13 will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Derrick Lewis (14-2) and Curtis Blaydes (24-7).
