Rizin 16 is set for Kobe World Hall on June 2nd and the promotion is going to roll out one of its biggest names. That’s if the promo video released today is to be believed.
The video below suggests that Tenshin Nasukawa, Kanna Asakura, Kai Asakura and Ayaka Hamasaki will all be in action on the promotion’s next card:

This will be the fourth Rizin card in a row that Tenshin has fought on, which underlines his importance to the Japanese promotion.
Kai Asakura (12-1) was initially scheduled to fight at Rizin 15. However both Ulka Sasaki and Justin Scoggins pulled out with an injury, causing this bout to be cancelled at the last minute.
He looks set to fight at Rizin 16 along with namesake Kanna Asakura (14-3). Hamasaki (17-2) is the fourth fighter in the video meaning that a rematch between these two ladies could well be in the works.
Hamasaki and Asakura went head to head at Rizin 14 with the inaugural atomweight title on the line. The former emerged victorious, securing an armbar late in the second round.
One fighter who won’t be featuring on the Rizin 16 card is Kyoji Horiguchi. He looks set to challenge Darrion Caldwell for the bantamweight title in a rematch at Bellator 222.
