After a disappointing outing against Floyd Mayweather at Rizin 14, Tenshin Nasukawa will be participating in a proper fight on March 10th. He is one of seven fighters who are now confirmed for the Rise World Series 58kgs tournament which gets underway at the Ota City Gymnasium.
As previously announced Suakim PKSaenchaigym, Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Shiro will all be competing along with Tenshin. Yesterday three of the remaining four 58kgs tournament fighters were announced with Fred Cordeiro, Federico Roma and Talison Gomez Ferreira all involved.
Meanwhile there are five fighters already booked for the 61kgs tournament. They are Taiga Kawabe, Hiroki, Chang Hyun Lee, Seksan Or Kwanmuang and Lee Jun and the quarter finals for both competitions will take place at the Ota City Gymnasium.
Each round of the tournaments will take place at a separate Rise event and the eventual winners will receive 1 million JPY. March 10th looks set to be a busy day for Japanese fighters with a K1 card also booked for the Saitama Super Arena that day.
