Three kickboxing bouts have been added to the Rizin 27 card. Among them is a bantamweight bout pitting Taiga against Sho Ogawa.
Taiga returned to winning ways, beating Yuma Yamahata by decision at Rizin 25 last year. The karate black belt had one win in ten prior to that contest.
Ogawa has competed for Japanese kickboxing and Muay Thai promotions like Knockout, Rise and Krush. The 27 year old will be competing on a Rizin card for the first time.
The other two kickboxing bouts added to the card are catchweight contests Syuto Sato faces Masayoshi Kunimoto at 53kgs while Ryota Naito takes on Hiroki at 55kgs.
The event is set for the Gaishi Hall in Nagoya on March 27th. In the main event Ayaka Hamasaki will make the first defence of her super atomweight title in a rematch with Kanna Asakura.
In the co-main event Roberto Souza will be looking to make it back to back wins when he faces promotional newcomer Kazuki Tokudome. Meanwhile UFC veteran Yoshinori Horie has been matched with Tetsuya Seki in a featherweight fight.
Deep lightweight champion Koji Takeda meets lightweight King of Pancrase Takasuke Kume, heavyweights Tsuyoshi Sudario and Kazushi Miyamori face off while Kazumasa Majima takes on Kleber Koike Erbst at featherweight.
