Heat 45 is set for the Nagoya International Convention Centre on July 28th and will be headlined by a lightweight title fight between a Korean and a Brazilian.
Champion Tom Santos (11-8) will be defending the title he won at Heat 44 for the first time. The Brazilian is an Asian MMA veteran who has fought for Pancrase, Rizin, Shooto and Road FC but is coming off back to back losses.
Challenger Kyung Pyo Kim (8-2) is also a Road FC veteran and has won his last two fights. The Korean lightweight has been handed a title shot on his promotional debut.
He won’t be the only Korean fighting for a title on the card. Myung-Gu Kim will be making the second defense of his bantamweight belt on July 28th against an undisclosed opponent.
As previously announced Japanese bantamweights Seiji Akao and Takeshi Kasugai will also face off at Heat 45.
