Danial Williams scored the biggest win of his career at ONE: ‘Bad Blood’ tonight. The Thai/Australian strawweight finished former champion Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke with a straight punch to the body in the second round.

It was a delayed reaction from the Thai veteran but there was no recovering from this blow:

Williams might not quite have Muay Thai credentials which are as impressive as his opponents but the 28 year old looks set to be a force to be reckoned with in the strawweight division. This was his first MMA fight for ONE Championship and beating a former champion was the perfect start.

Dejdamrong might be celebrating his 44th birthday later this year but he had won four out of his last six fights. After this performance strawweights won’t exactly be queuing up to take on Williams.
