Weili Zhang and Rose Namajunas will meet at UFC 261. The Chinese fighter will be making the second defence of her strawweight title on April 24th in Las Vegas.

Zhang (21-1) win the title by beating Andrade at UFC Shenzhen in 2019. Last year she successfully defended it with a split decision win over Joanna Jędrzejczyk at UFC 248.

Namajunas (9-4) has won four out of her last five fights. She has faced Jędrzejczyk three times during this period, beating the former champion twice.

Another Chinese strawweight has also been added to the card. Na Liang (15-4), who has been training at the UFC Performance Institute in Shanghai, will be making her promotional debut against Ariane Carnelossi (12-2)

As previously announced Danaa Batgerel faces Kevin Natividad in a bantamweight bout while Qileng Aori faces Jeff Molina in flyweight action. There are currently no fewer than four Chinese fighters on the card.

The event also features the return of Asian MMA veteran Mark Striegl. He has been matched with Johnny Muñoz in a bantamweight bout.
