Wu Yanan and Ji Yeon Kim will both be fighting next month. They will both be in action on February 26th with the former fighting Josiane Nunes and the latter matched with Priscila Cachoeira.
Flyweight Kim (9-4-2) had been booked to face Poliana Botelho at UFC 270. But instead of fighting in front of a live audience on a pay per view card the Korean finds herself competing at the Apex Centre a few days later.
She is coming off back to back decision losses although she did pick up a $50,000 USD bonus for her defeat to Molly McCann at UFC Vegas 36. With a 3-4 record inside the octagon this has the makings of a must win fight for the Korean.
Cachoeira (10-4) finds herself in a similar situation having won only two of her four UFC fights. She is coming off a submission loss to Gillian Robertson at UFC 269.
Yanan (12-4) is also coming off back to back losses with just one win from her four UFC fights. She has been matched with Brazil’s Josiane Nunes in a bantamweight bout.
