UFC Vegas 33 is set for the Apex Centre on July 31st and it looks set to be a big night for Asian fighters. Wu Yanan is the latest to be added to the card, she will face off against Nicco Montaño in a battle between two unranked bantamweights.

Yanan (11-4) is coming off back to back decision losses and appears to have settled on the bantamweight division after failing to make 125lbs on her last try. She was beaten by Joselyne Edwards at UFC Fight Island 7 and Mizuki Inoue at UFC Shenzhen.

Montaño (4-3) won TUF 26 in 2017 and became the UFC flyweight champion in the process. Seven of her eight fights since then have fallen through, and she is now plying her trade at 135lbs having never been able to get down to the flyweight limit in order to defend her title.

As previously announced Korean fighters Doo Ho Choi and Kyung Ho Kang will be back in action at UFC Vegas 33. The former has been matched with Danny Chavez in a featherweight fight while the latter faces Rani Yahya in a bantamweight bout.
