Wu Yanan has suffered a serious injury. She has been forced to withdraw from UFC Fight Night 202 after tearing her MCL.
It is not clear when or how the injury occurred. But Yanan appears to have been undergoing medical treatment since the start of the year and looks set for an extended spell on the sidelines.
Yanan was scheduled to face Josiane Nunes at UFC Fight Night 202 on February 26th. She has been replaced by Jennifer Gonzalez Araneda who will be making her promotional debut against the Brazilian.
Representing China on the card will be Zhu Rong. The lightweight will be looking to make it back to back UFC wins when he faces Ignacio Bahamondes.
Also in action next month is Ji Yeon Kim. She has been matched with Priscila Cachoeira in a flyweight fight at UFC Fight Night 202.
