Yan Xiaonan will no longer be competing at UFC Singapore. The Chinese strawweight suffered a foot injury in training and was forced to withdraw from the card according to multiple reports.

According to MMA Fighting she damaged her foot during a training session. Xiaonan, who has won all four of her UFC fights to date, should be able to resume training within a month but will be unable to compete on October 26th.

Whether the UFC will find a replacement opponent for Ashley Yoder, or scrap the fight altogether remains to be seen. Controversial heavyweight Greg Hardy was recently rescheduled for a different show after his original opponent pulled out due to injury.

As previously announced Ben Askren will face Demian Maia in the main event of UFC Fight Night 162. The American is a former ONE Championship welterweight champion and has fought in the Singapore Indoor Stadium several times.

UFC on ESPN+ 15 took place in Shenzhen last month while UFC 242 was held in Abu Dhabi a couple of weeks ago. There is also an event set for Busan on December 21st meaning that the promotion has two cards booked in Asia between now and the end of the year.
