Yoshinori Horie is no longer on the UFC roster. The Japanese welterweight took to Twitter to announce he had been released by the promotion after just one fight:

The Japanese featherweight faced Hakeem Dawodu at UFC 240. He was knocked out with a head kick late in the final round and won’t be getting another opportunity in the octagon, at least for the time being.
Prior to signing for the UFC he had established himself as one of the top 145lbers on the Pancrase roster. It remains to be seen whether Horie will return there but at the age of 24 time is very much on his side.
Horie’s relase leaves Takashi Sato, Mizuki Inoue and Syuri Kondo as the only Japanese fighters on the UFC roster. The latter has lost her last three fights.
