During his 24 year MMA career Charles Bennett has seen and done just about everything. But the Pride veteran will be stepping into completely new territory next month when he participates in a two on one match at Fight Circus.
He will be taking on two opponents who have more experience than him, at least when it comes to two on one matches. Thai fighters Bank and No Money are a duo who have competed in at least three of these contests.
The event is entitled Fight Circus Presents Running Man The Musical. It will take place in a theatre in Phuket rather than a nightclub and looks likely to feature singing as well as freakshow fights.
Pride veteran
Bennett has never faced Bank and No Money before. But he has been in with Duane Ludwig, Urijah Faber, Takanori Gomi and Tatsuya Kawajiri during the course of a career that has encompassed 77 MMA fights.
The American has fought in front of 50,000 people in Japan on cards featuring the likes of Fedor Emelianenko, Mirko Crocop, Dan Henderson and Kazushi Sakuraba. But this will be his first time fighting at the Junkyard Theatre in Phuket.
Last time out Bank and No Money defeated the Fight Circus promoter Jon Nutt who was dressed in a suit for some reason.

Losing streak
Bennett might be a few pounds lighter than Nutt but he presumably won’t be expected to fight while wearing business attire. It might be a relief to the 43 year old to learn that results from this bout won’t be appearing on his record as things haven’t exactly been going his way in recent years.
Bennett last won a fight in 2016 when he stopped Minoru Kimura in under 30 seconds at the Rizin World Grand Prix. Since then the American has lost 20 in a row competing in MMA, bare knuckle boxing, Shoot boxing and regular boxing.
Tyson Fury was in attendance at Fight Circus 7 in June. That event took place at a nightclub in Patong and featured cosplaying dwarves with Bob Sapp in attendance.
As well as the two on one fight the upcoming Fight Circus event will feature Siamese Twins kickboxing and big vs small fights. It also looks set to have a 1980s theme and is advertized as being a musical.
