Montel Jackson is out of UFC Columbus and Danaa Batgerel has a new opponent. The Mongolian will now be fighting Chris Gutierrez on March 26th.
Batgerel (10-2) is riding a three fight winning streak with every single one of those victories coming courtesy of a first round stoppage due to strikes. He remains unranked but did pick up a $50,000 bonus for his most recent win, against Brandon Davis at UFC Vegas 40.
Gutierrez (17-3-2) has five wins and a draw from his last six fights. Both men are currently unranked but a spot in the top 15 is surely on the line here.
As previously announced Seung Woo Choi (10-2) will face Tucker Lutz (12-4) in a featherweight bout at the Nationwide Arena on March 26th. The Korean will be looking to get back to winning ways after being submitted by Alex Caceres at UFC Vegas 41.
