Kobayashi and Malegarie fight for featherweight title at Pancrase 305
Another title fight has been added to the Pancrase 305 card. On May 26th Isao Kobayashi and Nazareno Malegarie will compete for the right to be called the featherweight King of Pancrase.
Kobayashi (23-5-4) won the interim version of the belt by stopping Koyomi Matsushima at Pancrase 295 last year. He’s won four out of five fights for the promotion since returning after an unsuccessful spell with Bellator.
Malegarie (33-5-1) is a TUF, UFC, Bellator and PFL veteran who has won three fights out of three for Pancrase. He hails from Argentina and has won six out of his last eight fights.
As previously announced the Pancrase 305 card will also features a welterweight trilogy bout between Japanese legends Yuki Kondo and Akihiro Gono.
Next up for the promotion is Pancrase 304 which is set for Studio Coast on April 14th. The flyweight and lightweight titles will both be on the line.
