Loma Lookboonmee will now fight Angela Hill at UFC Auckland. The American steps in to replace the injured Hannah Goldy.
Loma (4-1) is coming off a win at UFC Singapore. It was her strawweight debut, as well as her promotional debut and the multiple time Muay Thai champion has spent the majority of her career competing at 105lbs.
Hill (11-7) is coming off back to back wins. But she has already suffered defeat at the hands of one Asian opponent, getting outpointed by Yan Xiaonan at UFC 238.
UFC Auckland is set for the Spark Arena on February 22nd and looks set to feature a strong contingent of Asian fighters. Song Kenan and Takashi Sato are facing Callan Potter and Maki Pitolo respectively.
Meanwhile the Thai fighter faces a step up in opposition when she takes on Hannah Goldy (5-1).
Meanwhile Xiaonan will go in search of her fifth straight UFC win on February 23rd. The Chinese fighter has been booked to face Karolina Kowalkiewicz in Auckland.
The event will be headlined by a lightweight bout pitting local favourite Dan Hooker against Paul Felder.
