Mark Striegl will be back in action next month. The Fil-Am bantamweight was forced to withdraw from the UFC Vegas 7 card at the last minute after testing positive for Covid-19.

Striegl has been rebooked for UFC Fight Night 181. He faces Said Nurmagomedov as per AsianMMA’s John Hyon Ko:

Striegl (18-2-0-1) is the reigning URCC featherweight champion. He has fought for numerous promotions in Asia including PXC and ONE Championship.

The 32 year old has been matched with an opponent from Dagestan. Nurmagomedov (18-2) will be looking to bounce back after suffering the first defeat of his UFC career.

As previously announced featherweights Chan Sun Jung and Brian Ortega have been booked to fight on October 17th. As is often the case in the Covid-19 era the promotion has yet to confirm a destination for this card.
