A welterweight bout has been added to the Pancrase 318 card. Masayuki Kikuiri faces Kenta Takagi at Shinkiba Studio Coast on September 27th.

The promotion took to Twitter to announce the matchup:

Kikuiri (5-1-1) is coming off the biggest win of his career at Pancrase 316 last month. He stopped seasoned veteran Yuta Nakamura in the second round and has been booked to fight again just two months later.

He faces another experienced opponent in the shape of Kenta Takagi (17-18). The 34 year old is coming off back to back losses, he was submitted with a rear naked choke at Pancrase 306 and Pancrase 309.

As previously announced Genpei Hayashi faces Tatsuya Saika in an interim lightweight title bout at Pancrase 318. The winner is likely to face Takasuke Kume for the vacant title further down the line.

Also on the Pancrase 318 card is the rearranged flyweight fight between Rilley Dutro and Taiki Akiba. The two had originally been set to face off at Pancrase 315.

The other fight added to the card was originally set for Pancrase 314. Yusuke Kasuya faces Hiroto Uesako in a fight bewtween two lightweights looking to rebound from losses.
