ONE: ‘Heart of Heroes’ was set for Ho Chi Minh City on March 20th but the event has been postponed due to concerns over the coronavirus.

Chatri Sityodtong explained the decision in a post on Facebook yesterday:

The event will now take place on June 26th, assuming concerns over the coronavirus have eased by then. The fight card featured two title fights with Alaverdi Ramazanov putting his kickboxing belt on the line against reigning Muay Thai champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao in the headliner.

The other title fight features two promotional newcomers. The inaugural strawweight Muay Thai title was scheduled to be contested by Victoria Lipianska and Iman Barlow.

Meanwehile Vietnamese born mixed martial artist Bi Nguyen was booked to take on promotional newcomer Rudzma Abubakar in an atomweight Muay Thai contest.

It remains to be seen whether the fight card will remain intact, of if some of these bouts will be shifted to other events.
