Petr Yan‘s training camp at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket is coming to an end. Soon he will be travelling to the US for his rematch with Aljamain Sterling at UFC 273.
It hasn’t all been smooth sailing for Yan who recently found out that his corner men would be unable to obtain visas to travel. But the Russian is looking ripped and ready in a pic he posted on Instagram yesterday:

Yan normally conducts his training camps at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket although Covid-19 restrictions have made that difficult in recent years. He is the reigning interim bantamweight champion and lost his belt to Sterling in bizarre circumstances at UFC 259.
The Russian was disqualified after landing an illegal knee in the fourth round. A voice from his corner could clearly be heard telling him to throw the knee, so perhaps bring a different team to next month’s fight won’t do him any harm!
Sean O’Malley publicly offered to corner Yan and the interim champion appears to have taken him up on the offer. But it doesn’t look like Henry Cejudo, who will be there with The Korean Zombie, will be joining him.
Yan suggested Cejudo might like to corner him but this led to a Twitter exchange that was not entirely amicable. It looks like there is more chance of these two fighting each other than working together.
