Rade Opacic absolutely destroyed Patrick Schmid in the opening fight of the ONE: ‘First Strike’ card. The Serbian scored four knockdowns before the referee called off the fight to save the Swiss fighter from further punishment.

It was one way traffic from start to finish. Opacic did a lot of damage to the body, landing knees to his opponent’s midsection at will. There was no quit in ‘Big Swiss’ but it turned out to be a totally one sided beatdown.
Opacic has now won three fights out of three for ONE Championship and is clearly in pole position for a shot at the heavyweight kickboxing title. All of those finishes have come in the second round and opponents won’t exactly be queuing up to face the Serbian giant.
